Thomas Mogford is the author of the Spike Sanguinetti Mysteries — Shadow of the Rock, Sign of the Cross, Hollow Mountain and Sleeping Dogs. The latest in the series — A THOUSAND CUTS — is out now.

Thomas also writes historical fiction. An interest in his mother’s family, the Chivers — prominent Victorian horticulturalists who founded a successful jam and jelly making company — led him to write THE PLANT HUNTER, a tale of a young Victorian who travels to China in search of a rare and valuable tree.
