Red-letter day today as the contracts arrived in the post from Bloomsbury for Spike books 3 and 4. Am currently 20,000 words into Spike 3 –can reveal it is set wholly in Gibraltar, but otherwise… work in progress. Needless to say, I signed on the dotted line with undignified haste and posted the envelope back this afternoon…
